The MAHA showroom: Innovation and Design that inspire
In January 2023, Rafael J. Juan Marcos, CEO of MAHA, approached Gebesa with a clear vision: to create a showroom in Torreón, Coahuila, that would not only transform his brand's digital presence into a captivating physical experience but also position MAHA as a leader in the distribution of products for restaurants, banquets, and homes.
Under the guidance of our commercial advisor, Gerardo Mata, this project became an exciting challenge that required us to innovate beyond our experience in office furniture.
Challenge
MAHA, which until then had operated exclusively online, sought innovative, durable, and aesthetically attractive commercial furniture for its first showroom. Rafael’s proposal required us to merge a minimalist aesthetic with exceptional functionality, creating an environment that would not only appeal to customers but also reflect the brand’s identity.
Design and Collaboration Process
From the initial meetings, it was clear that this project would require close collaboration with Rafael and the architectural firm.
Every detail was carefully considered, from the selection of materials to the finishes. We worked with oxford gray metals and Arctic Skyline and anigre countertops, ensuring that each piece not only aligned with MAHA’s aesthetic vision but also offered the necessary durability for a high-demand environment.
Our design and manufacturing teams worked closely together, combining the experience of custom furniture design, with inspiration from our G-Connect and Credenzas Prime lines.
Challenges and Solutions
The main challenge was the fabrication and installation of furniture that was completely new to us. This wasn’t the typical office furniture project; it was a foray into commercial design that required high standards of quality and durability.
Our installation team tackled this challenge with determination, dedicating time to ensure each piece was perfectly installed, with shelving custom-made to be mounted on walls, meeting the most demanding expectations.
Result
The MAHA showroom in Torreón, located on Blvd. Independencia, is now a tangible testament to what can be achieved when innovation and collaboration align with a clear vision. This space not only exceeds aesthetic expectations but also establishes MAHA as a key player in Mexico's home goods market. We are proud to have been part of this transformative project and look forward to continuing to support MAHA in its future expansion.
This project reaffirms Gebesa’s commitment to excellence in design and manufacturing, demonstrating our ability to tackle unique challenges and turn them into success stories.
